Geo-information for urban planning and Adaptation to climate change (GeoUPAC) (Janauary 2018- June 2022)

1. Generation and customization of geo-information integration the impacts of climate change and geo-hazards in project areas.
2. Improve the quality, diversity, and coverage of geo-information for the urban planning and development processes.
3. Training of GSB professionals to strengthen the regulatory capacities and related services in urban-engineering geology and related fields of geoscience.
4. Support the urban planners and developers in the interpretation and integration of geo-information in urban planning /development processes; including user-demand-based training.
5. Improve knowledge-sharing and collaboration between GSB, urban planners, and other relevant professionals to ensure adequate representation of geo-information in urban development plans and decisions making.
